1. What is Nine Mile Station?
Located in the heart of Atlanta on the top floor of Ponce City Market, 9 Mile Station is a sleek indoor-outdoor space offering sweeping unobstructed views of Atlanta’s skylines spanning from Buckhead to Downtown. 9 Mile Station serves craft beers from near and far, classically prepared cocktails, and delicious, shareable American grill food.
2. Why is there a credit card hold with my reservation?
When you make a reservation, your credit card will be placed on file and waives the general admission fee to access The Roof. If your reservation is marked as a “no show” (meaning you did not dine at the restaurant) or is cancelled inside of the 24-hour window, the credit card on file will be charged $25 per guest.
3. Is there indoor and outdoor seating? Can I request one or the other?
We offer both indoor as well as covered and uncovered patio seating. We do our best to accommodate seating preferences, however, we cannot guarantee nor reserve any specific seating. All seating is done on a first come first serve basis as the weather and amount of time guests spend with us vary.
4. How do I check-in when I get there?
Guest check-in is at The Roof ticket booth in the first-floor courtyard near Anthropologie and Posman Books. Your guests can check in under the reservation name and they will receive the appropriate wristband for 9 Mile Station. Reservation guests do not have to check in at the same time to gain access to The Roof.
5. Can we split our checks?
In order for staff to provide the best service for every guest, we cannot provide separate checks. We do offer a system in house to split checks via QR code for any group size. Guests often use CashApp, Venmo, or PayPal to settle up with each other, or they bring cash to pool at the end.
6. Can I bring decorations to The Roof?
No. We kindly ask that you do not bring any decorations to The Roof. Balloons of any kind are strictly prohibited.
7. If I make a reservation, will my credit card hold be released if I cancel?
You can reschedule or cancel your booking for a full release of the credit card hold up to 24 hours prior to your reservation. If you cancel less than 24 hours in advance, you will forfeit your credit card hold amount. Please note that if a hold is released, it may take 5-10 business days to be processed.
8. Where should I park?
Ponce City Market offers both valet parking and self-parking. We do not offer validation for Self-parking or Valet Parking. You will be able to pay for parking at one of the kiosks or on the ParkMobile app (zone 222). Please allow at least 30 minutes to park, check-in, and access The Roof.
9. Do you take walk-ins?
There are two unique ways to access the restaurant. Your first option is to book a reservation with us online at www.9milestation.com (up to 20 guests) or by contacting [email protected] (for groups of 21 to 25 guests…inquiries for more than 25 guests should contact [email protected]). All reservations require a credit card hold that waives the general admission fee to access The Roof. We also allow walk-ins as availability permits. Walk-ins pay the general admission fee to access The Roof and come over from Skyline Park. Without a reservation, we are not able to guarantee a table. 10. Do reservations include games at Skyline Park?
While your reservation is only inclusive of general admission at Skyline Park, your guests will be able to purchase unlimited gameplay wristbands when they arrive. These wristbands cannot be purchased online ahead of time. For any questions, you can contact Skyline Park at (770) 999- 1530.
11. Are there vegetarian, vegan, or Gluten-Free options?
We do offer vegetarian and gluten-free options. Our menu will have these options marked as V (vegetarian), VE (vegan), or GF (gluten-free). Please let your server know of any food sensitivities or allergies and we will make every effort to accommodate. Feel free to email [email protected] with any questions.
12. Can you accommodate large groups?
Yes! For groups of 21-25 guests, you can email the restaurant at [email protected]. Groups larger than 25 may contact our events team at [email protected] for pricing and availability.
13. What if my party is running late?
Your table will be held for 20 minutes past your scheduled reservation time. After 20 minutes, you may lose your table and forfeit your reservation. If you are running later than 20 minutes, please call the restaurant.
14. Is it kid-friendly?
While children are welcome, we are more of a bar-focused environment set up for adult enjoyment.
15. Can I bring a cake?
You are welcome to bring any outside cake or dessert. We will charge a $2 per-person outside dessert fee at the end of your meal.
16. Is there an automatic gratuity?
Parties of 6 or more will have an 20% gratuity added to checks.
17. When are igloos available?
Igloos will begin on Black Friday and will end the 17th of February. All igloo reservations can be booked online at www.9milestation.com. For more information on igloos, please email [email protected].
18. Is cash accepted?
In order to ensure the safety of our team and streamline the guest experience, The Roof at Ponce City Market has transitioned to a cashless operation.
